The College Application Bootcamp is designed to guide you through the entire application process in a clear, organized, and manageable way. Each step builds on the last, so you always know what you’re working on and why it matters.
Here’s what the process looks like:
Step 1: Get Oriented & Set Up Your Systems
You’ll begin by completing a short questionnaire and setting up your College Command Center. This includes organizing your documents, timelines, and tools so everything lives in one place from the start.
Step 2: Build Awareness & Clarify Your Starting Point
Early modules focus on understanding the college application landscape, reflecting on your goals, and learning how colleges review applications holistically. This helps you see where you’re starting and what to focus on next.
Step 3: Explore Colleges & Create a Balanced List
You’ll learn how to research colleges, understand Reach, Match, and Safety schools, and begin building a college list that aligns with your academic profile, interests, and priorities.
Step 4: Develop Strong Application Materials
As you move through the Bootcamp, you’ll work on essays, activities, and application components step-by-step. The course breaks each task into manageable pieces so you’re never guessing what to do next.
Step 5: Track Deadlines & Prepare for Submission
Using CounselMore and your master timeline, you’ll keep track of deadlines, recommendations, and required materials. The focus here is staying ahead, not scrambling at the last minute.
Step 6: Submit with Confidence & Look Ahead
By the end of the Bootcamp, your applications will be organized, reviewed, and ready to submit. You’ll finish the process knowing you’ve taken a thoughtful, complete, and intentional approach.
